En Asia hay un "subgrupo de vampiros" que funcionan con reglas completamente diferentes (Kindred of the East) conocidos como Kuei-jin. Como tal yo los he eliminado de mi ambientación, pero he adaptado los diferentes clanes a la zona, además de hacer un lexicón de palabras interesantes.

-Lexicon:
- Gaijin: Foreigner
- Uji: "House" or "Clan." The equivalent of a Kindred Clan or Bloodline
- Kazoku: "Harmonious Child." A term used to denote a Clan of high standing. Equivalent to the Dark Ages "High Clan." A member of the usual ruling elite.
- Heimin: "Commoner," A term for so called "Low Clans" who are traditionally subservient to the Kazoku Uji.
- Jiki-ketsu (Formal): Equivalent to "Kindred" or "Cainite" - the formal name the vampires of Japan use for themselves. A western vampire would not be considered Jiki-ketsu.
- Asamashii (Formal): "Wretched Ones," Uji that are not part of the Jiki-ketsu. They are often referred to with other names such as "Jiki-fu" or "Jiki-da"
- Kyuketsuki (Vulgar): A vampire. Can refer to western Kindred as well. Used the same way a Kindred might say "vampire" or "Lick."
- Jito: A ghoul
- Shen: Supernaturals native of the region.
- Taiyō no shizoku (Formal). Also known as Clans of the Sun. Umbrella group for the Gaki
- Gaki (Vulgar): The common name Japan Kindred uses to call themselves.
- Oyabun: Father-role. Equivalent of Sire but has more authority upon his Childe since nearly always it become their Mawla.
- Kobun: Son-role. Equivalent of Childe.
- Wu: Equivalent of Coterie.
- Ojisan: Oyabun/Sire of a member of the wu/coterie. As a sight of respect.
- Strike Force Zero: Also known as SF0 is an elite, top-secret “demon” hunting agency of the Japanese government.
- Chinpira: Vandal, works for the Yakuza, doing the dirty job. They have certain animosity against other japaneses. They are send to deal with business that own money to others.
- Shoba dai: Bodyguards or bouncers for the Yakuza.
- Bishamon: Major Uji of the Gaki, a traditionalist society concerned with Humanity redemption. They are Toreador, having Celerity, Presence and Auspex.
- Genji: Major Uji of the Gaki, a wild and loose uji heavily involved in Japan's modern corporate culture. They are Ministry, having Presence, Obfuscate and Protean.
- Iga: a minor, independent uji of warriors that fight against mortal hunters and other mundane threats against the Clans of the Sun. They are Ravnos, having Fortitude, Obfuscate and Auspex instead of Animalism.
- Koga: a minor, independent uji of assassins that fight against shen and supernatural threats against the Clans of the Sun. They are Banu Haquim, having Celerity, Obfuscate and Blood Sorcery.
- Heiki: The traditional rulers of the Jiki-ketsu. They are Ventrue, having Dominate, Presence and Fortitude.
- Chibo: Priestly class of blood sorcerers. They supposedly know rituals that can manipulate vampiric lineages (changing sires, raising or lowering generation, or potentially even changing a vampire's clan). They are Brujah having Celerity, Presence and substitute Potence for Blood Sorcery.
- Yokai: Seducers and city-dwellers. They are Grangrel, having Animalism, Protean and substitute Fortitude for Presence.
- Barakumen: Referred to by the other vampires of Japan as the Jiki-ke, the "eaters of smells" - a priestly class that deals with the unclean duties surrounding the dead and burial. They are Nosferatu, having Obfuscate, Potence and substitute Animalism for Oblivion.
- Rokurokubi: Also known as the Jiki-fu ("eaters of wind") to the other Clans. They are Tzimisce, having Animalism, Dominate and Protean.
- Rosombiru: Once known as the Jiki-ka, the eaters of fire (supposedly because of the penchant for the shadows controlled by the Rosombiru to be palpable enough to snuff out flames), these vampires are known in modern nights by the gentler and more poetic term “Ghost Blossoms,” although they are still mistrusted and shunned. They first arrived in Japan with Portuguese traders and Jesuit missionaries. They are Lasombra, having Dominate, Potence and Oblivion.
- Tsukaite-doku: The users of poison, associated with Japan's corporate world. They would have originally been called the Jiki-doku (eaters of poison) but their aggressive adaptation to corporate Japan would have elevated them enough in the eyes of the Heiki to shed their "Jiki" title (although still singularly excluded from the Jiki-ketsu). They were originally Cappadocians but now they are part of the Hecata, having Auspex, Fortitude and Oblivion.
- Jiki-niku (eaters of flesh) The Nagaraja - originally a foreign bloodline but now "permitted" to remain. Thanks to the efforts of the Giovanni. Now they are part of the Hecata, having Auspex, Fortitude and Oblivion.
- Giovanni: In Ginza. Under protection from the Genji, in exchange for a promise of staying out of Kuei-jin matters. Now they are part of the Hecata, having Auspex, Fortitude and Oblivion.
- Brujah: Near Kanda. Two broods that war among themselves. Who have traveled to Japan to assemble the definite history of the Japanese supernaturals. The two remain civil thanks to mediation from the Genji.
- Tremere: Chantry near the Tokyo Stock Center, it was the leading force of the camarilla in Tokyo.
